Free Assembly T-Shirt – Essential Everyday Tees
Our essential crew neck tee is built for all-day comfort and effortless style. Crafted from a soft cotton-blend jersey, it offers a relaxed fit that moves with you while maintaining its shape wear after wear. The crew neckline sits comfortably without binding, and the ribbed collar keeps its structure through countless washes.

We chose a 60/40 cotton-polyester blend specifically because it balances natural softness with long-term durability. Pure cotton feels great on day one but loses shape quickly—our blend keeps the breathable comfort of cotton while the polyester fibers resist shrinking and fading. The jersey knit construction creates a fabric that drapes naturally without clinging.

Sizing and fit guide
Our essential tee follows a modern relaxed fit—slightly looser through the body than a classic fitted tee, but more structured than an oversized style. The shoulders align with your natural shoulder line, and the sleeves hit mid-bicep. Length falls just below the waist, providing enough coverage to stay tucked or wear untucked.
Finding your size
If you prefer a closer fit, we recommend sizing down one size from your usual. For a roomier, layering-friendly fit, choose your regular size. The fabric has a small amount of give but doesn’t stretch significantly. We offer an extended size range from XS through 3XL—detailed measurements for chest, length, and sleeve are available on each product page. After the first wash, expect minimal shrinkage (approximately 1-2% in length).

Care and longevity
Machine wash cold with like colors—we pre-wash our fabrics during production to minimize shrinkage, so cold water is all you need to keep your tee clean. Turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the exterior surface and preserve color vibrancy. Use a standard detergent and avoid bleach, which breaks down the cotton fibers over time.
Drying and storage
Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry. High heat can degrade the polyester blend and cause unnecessary shrinkage. If you do use a dryer, remove the tee while it’s still slightly damp to prevent over-drying. Iron on low heat if needed, though the fabric naturally resists wrinkling. Store folded rather than hung to maintain shoulder shape—hanging can stretch out the neckline over months of wear.

Our essential tee follows a modern relaxed fit that’s slightly roomier than a classic fitted tee but more structured than an oversized style. The shoulders align with your natural shoulder line, and the body allows comfortable movement without excess fabric. If you typically wear a medium and prefer a closer fit, consider sizing down to a small. For a roomier, layering-friendly fit, stick with your usual size. We provide detailed chest, length, and sleeve measurements on each product page to help you choose.

We pre-wash the fabric during production to minimize shrinkage, so you’ll see only about 1-2% change in length after the first wash when following care instructions. Washing in cold water and tumble drying on low heat further reduces shrinkage. If you’re concerned, hang drying eliminates virtually all risk. The cotton-polyester blend is significantly more stable than 100% cotton tees, which can shrink several inches over time.
Yes—the midweight fabric makes this tee a versatile year-round staple. In warmer months, it’s breathable enough to wear on its own without overheating. When temperatures drop, it layers seamlessly under jackets, cardigans, or sweaters without adding bulk. The crew neckline sits low enough that it doesn’t show awkwardly under collared shirts. Many customers keep several colors in rotation across all four seasons.
We use a 60% cotton / 40% polyester jersey blend specifically engineered for durability and comfort. Pure cotton feels soft initially but loses shape, fades, and shrinks quickly. Our blend keeps the natural breathability and softness of cotton while the polyester fibers resist shrinking, fading, and stretching. The jersey knit construction creates a fabric that drapes naturally without clinging to your body, and it holds up through repeated washing better than 100% cotton alternatives.
No—the midweight fabric provides adequate coverage without being heavy or stiff. White and lighter colors are slightly less opaque than darker shades, but the fabric weight is substantial enough that you won’t see skin or underlayers clearly. If you prefer extra coverage in light colors, an undershirt works seamlessly with our relaxed fit. The heather grey, navy, and black colorways are completely opaque.
Most customers start with three to five shirts in versatile colors like white, black, heather grey, and navy. This allows you to rotate through the week without repeating outfits while leaving time for laundry. The price point makes stocking up affordable, and having multiple tees extends the life of each one by reducing wear frequency. If you plan to layer these under other shirts regularly, consider adding one or two extra in neutral tones.
